Why I want this: This matchup really just oozes fun in every orifice, connections are really solid, the animation potential is amazing, given how well their powers clash with each other and bounce off each other just so damn well, the music potential is fantastic with TGM showing this with Spawn Of The Devil, mesh their theme's so damn well together, making for a banger of a track, the interactions are also really good given how cocky these two can be, and it's just a really fun matchup all around to discuss. Both are outcasts of society (The Burnish are discriminated against and hunted down, and Ann was outcast for being very beautiful and a foreigner and The Phantom Thieves in general are people who have lost their place in society) that fight against evil politicians who are favored by the people (Foresight and Shido respectively), both also team up with a hot-headed guy (Galo and Ryuji respectively) and both of their powers manifest through other beings (The fire wielded by the burnish is alive and Ann's Persona). Connections: Disillusioned rough housers who worked their way up the criminal ladder through participation in different teams and organisations (including time on a government sanctioned force), and are a lot more amicable than they seem. Okay, I think we can agree that we'd all like to see indie characters in Death Battle, and considering the crew have shown interest in using Shantae lately, so why not take it a step further and use one of the most well known and liked indie characters from one of the best indie games of all time, lemme tell ya, Sans practically makes the matchup a joy to watch, connections and theming are solid, the animation potential is great, with Sans and his gimmick playing into The Judge's all to well, now while it could be argued that it could be boring since the fight would consist of Sans just dodging attacks since he dies in one hit, and while that is true, keep in mind they could show Sans getting more and more tired as the fight goes on, eventually ending in the killing blow, music potential is also great since Megalovania is a banger, but what sells this the most is the banter potential, Sans practically makes the banter potential oh so enjoyable with all of his puns mixing that with someone like Judge would lead to some damn fun jabs between the two of them, so yeah, it's a really fun idea all around the board. Kang VS Brainiac and Shockwave VS Relius are really fucking good, I know Marvel VS DC makes sense but I never expected a Transformers VS BlazBlue fight to make sense as well, however I think these two are better off against each other, now don't get me wrong, Relius and Kang are both really solid ideas for these two, I just like this idea more. 1: Freddy Krueger vs Pennywise. Why I want this: Brainiac, oh Brainiac, his matchup spread is an interesting one to say the very least, however, out of all of his matchups, personally I think this is his best idea by about a few miles, from the solid as hell connections and theming, we also have animation potential that's better than it seems, since we could have a race to see who can hack the other first while they fend off each others attacks with some exciting clashes in between, music potential is no brainer since Transformers has some bopping beats, now banter isn't all that special since these two are emotionless, but it's still pretty good nonetheless, throw in the fact that it's decently close and potential for an entertaining analysis and you got yourself my second most wanted matchup involving a DC character in general. Thoughts on alternatives: Jin VS Esdeath is boring and Esdeath doesn't need to come back imo. More Kung Fu Panda reps are always poggers, throw in the solid connections, animation potential, music potential and banter potential and it's the perfect matchup for the first Kung Fu Panda villain. Not to mention, it's close and we could also get some pretty good banter as well. Connections: Two once ordinary antagonists that turned themselves into cyborgs to prove that thier better than everyone. There's Freeze VS Hawkmoth, which is fine but compared to the utter sex that is Hawkmoth VS Rita Repulsa, it just feels kinda lacking in comparison. Possibly between: Odin vs Zeus Mythological, Mechamaru vs Robot, Yoshimitsu vs Genji, or Sailor Moon vs Pegasus Seiya. Why I want this: I really like Power Rangers, I really do, and seeing more of them would be just oh so poggers, and seeing this matchup happen would just be really fun, from decent connections, to some pretty good animation potential, but what sells it without a doubt are the interactions and music potential, music is great since combining the Power Rangers and He-Man themes would just slap, but the interactions? Two battles that are in my top 10 most wanted Death Battles list. And some of my original points don't hold up all that well. Why I want this: Because it's Tari, okay that's not all. From the absolute balls to the walls animation potential with their insane abilities, the fantastic music potential since TGM showed us with A Close Shave In Reality, dialogue potential that's practically a given considering how chaotic these two's personalities are, throw in a hilarious analysis with Wiz and Boomstick's reactions to half the shit that goes on in both series, Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo in particular being remembered for being so insanely chaotic, and you got yourself a recipe for a damn near perfect matchup. Connections are really solid, the animation potential, while not the greatest, still works, it's got good music potential, the atmosphere can also be pretty good, given how we could have a legit haunting episode, and it's just such a fun idea in more ways than one. 200. Winner: Azula, she blitzes and one shots Cinder. Connections: Draconic deities among the most powerful among their respective group of monsters (Pokmon and Summons respectively), who will only lend their powers to those worthy of it (Rayquaza requiring a trainer to catch Rayquaza to use it or in Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team's case, defeat it in order to convince Rayquaza to destroy an earth-shattering meteor while Bahamut often requires you to defeat him in battle in order to summon him). Connections: Immortal schemers who betrayed their people in order to accomplish the goals the plotted behind their backs. Connections are solid, the animation potential, while not the greatest, still has some great potential, but what sells it is undoublty the interaction potential, given how crazy they are it could make for some insanely funny interactions between them. Connections: Both are the main protagonist in the fifth story of the series (Persona and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, respectively) and both are the leader of a group and both do have their trusty Persona/Stand (Arsene and Gold Experience, respectively), and both Joker and Giorno were outcasts due to different reasons (Joker being framed for a crime he didn't do and Giorno being abused, respectively) and both then joined a team and became the leader of (The Phantom Thieves and Team Bucciarati, respectively). 9: Disney Princess Battle Royal. Connections: Both are 2016 & 2017 comic exclusive evil alternate versions of a hero who have a history with mind control by their villain (Drakkon being mind controlled by Rita, & BWL with getting infected by the Joker toxin) and do something theyd never do (Drakkon staying with Rita even after his mind controlled was broken & BWL killing the Joker), both also killed the villain responsible for their demise, takeover the world by killing almost all superheroes, and then try to conquer the multiverse & both were desafeares by themselves. Why I want this: Because it's really cool, from the solid connections, to the great animation potential, with their powers playing off of each other just so damn well, to the banter potential, since if they gave Paper Mario the ability to communicate could lead to some damn fun interactions, throw in some fantastic music potential that is guarunteed to be a freaking bop all around the board and a very close and debatable fight, you have the recipe for a damn fun episode. Pardon the shouting there, but yes, this is my most wanted Star Wars fight, now before we get started, I wanna address the elephant in the room, it being a carbon copy of Obi-Wan VS Kakashi, Splat's meme pretty much sums it up better than I could, so yeah, it's not redundant in the slightest, now we can get into why I love this matchup so damn much, first off, the connections and theming, Vader and Obito are so goddamn similar that it's not even funny, their stories line up so goddamn well that I'm surprised it got on my good side so quickly, not only that, if Obi-Wan VS Kakashi proved anything, then the animation potential is absolutely amazing, their powers go hand in hand with each other so goddamn well, music potential is also absolutely solid with TGM and Therewolf proving that the soundtracks of both Naruto and Star Wars go hand in hand with each other so damn well, banter potential is also pretty solid as well, throw in a ton of other great things, and you got yourself a matchup that's worthy of being my most wanted Star Wars fight and second most wanted fight in general.
